SELF-LED BEACH CLEANS

If you can’t make it to one of our social beach cleans (or if you prefer to carryout your clean-ups solo), you can borrow a beach-clean kit from the Scottish Seabird Centre every Friday between 10.00 and 16.00. Volunteering your time to clean-up the coastline is a great way to help improve marine habitats and protect wildlife.

SCOTTISH SEABIRD CENTRE HOLIDAY CLUBS

SCOTTISH SEABIRD CENTRE HOLIDAY CLUBS
14 FEBRUARY – 21 OCTOBER 2022

We’re delighted to be running 6 holiday clubs in 2022. Fran, our Education Officer, has devised an exciting programme of nature and science-based activities adapted for the different seasons. Our holiday clubs make the most of this incredible location and we’ll have the children outdoors learning about local wildlife and habitats as much as we can. Read on to find out more and how to book your place.

COASTAL WILDLIFE WALKS

Join our Conservation Officer for a relaxing 1.5 hour wildlife walk along the coast to find out more about the seabirds, shorebirds, and cetaceans that can be spotted around Scotland. Learn more about citizen science surveys, why they’re important, and how you can get involved in collecting data to safeguard wildlife and marine habitats. Everyone is welcome to ask questions, share their knowledge and experiences, or simply unwind and enjoy the wildlife. Booking essential.
